I just recieved my suppose to be new couch not only did it have numerous flaws but they took a black sharpie marker to try and cover up the tears in this so called 700 and some dollar couch I just bought. Let alone the day before *** to give you a time is bullcrap and the only thing they would do is exchange it and give me a 50 dollar gift card. Dont buy matresses from them, we bought a matress 3 years ago, the matress was a piece of garbage that cost 800 dollars then sales person recomended the cover, that cover cost 100 dollars. It was all a scam. The cover didnt protect the matress at all. Normally a matress will last 10 years. The matress was shot after a year an half. We called them they send a person he told me they should give you a new matress. And guess what nothing we wlost... Read more

I had been without living room furniture for over a year. When I could afford the payment in February of this year 2016 I spent 1746.00 plus finance charges. On the love seat behind the cup carrier the short back piece busted so when I called they said I never bought the warranty. I thought the manufacturer would at least carry a one year warranty. Do not believe any words from Art Van Sales People. They are worse than used-car-salesperson! When trying to cancel an order that Art Van failed to deliver on the promised date, it tries to hook customers with restocking fee, cancellation fees and so on. Was expecting store manager to be more reasonable, but was rude and did not care to assess the situation. Only threatened to charge XXX fees per back of invoice! By the way, the invoice is... Just called to get my furniture cleaned since i paid for lifetime cleaning. I was told i had to get it professionally cleaned with reciept, then they will come and spot clean! They also said i have to professionally clean every 6 months or warrenty is no good! I am a retired woman with no kids or pets and who spends 6 months in fla. Very friendly sales, purchased extended warranty on our $1,200.00 umbrella. Initial contact to repair for a cord issue (broke) back in July was great, theresponse great, great communication. It is now September 9th w no communication back from company. They claimed to have sent the part to the store (which I was told by the warranty rep on the phone never happens). Bought pair of lamps. was told I had 7 days to return. Found several flaws in metal then decided they really didn't go with my furniture anyway. Went to return them and found out there was a restocking fee. This information was never disclosed to me, only the 7 day return policy. I ordered a sofa, chair and patio dining table and chairs. When it was delivered the sofa had a large snag in the fabric. The dining table was damaged with dents in it. The delivery men wrote on the slip that both were to be returned for new undamaged items. I then get a call from art van stating a new dining table would be sent but not for 3 weeks and that the sofa a repair person would be out to fix it. I wanted a total replacement!!! ... Read more

I bought a leather sofa for $1200.00 (1st mistake) from Art Van. I noticed after 2-3 months that the back of the sofa was wearing off. I treated it with the treater that I bought from them and a few months later I noticed that the arms were doing the same thing and the back of the couch. So now I phoned Art Van and they sent out their technician. I was asked when did the back of the couch start wearing off I said about 2-3 months after I got it.... Read more
