Art Van Furniture - Warranty
Purchased furniture in December. Company sold me a gold warranty and less than 2 months later noticed all supports on back of couches are broke in 2. Contacted artvan. Submitted a claim. Less than a week later they filed bankruptcy and there is no way to contact them. Evidently they knew they were filing bankruptcy, it is sad they can take advantage of people especially a single mother and sell a warranty for services they know they will not be providing.

Do you have a copy of the warranty? I bought the gold star as well. Did they give you a brochure?

Just curious if your couch is the best friend sectional?

I purchased 2 sets. One for me and one for my dad as a Christmas gift.

I will look to see the name of them but they were both couch and love seat not a sectional. Both love seats broke within 60 days.

I'm just surprised they could sell 6 year warranties less than 90 days prior to closing and not feel bad about it. A bankruptcy isn't something they thought up overnight.

My sectional is same color & had same frame issues. That’s why I asked.

They came out 3 times before replacing with a couch that developed the same issue within 3 mths. I also bought the gold warranty.

I am still paying on the art van card & they won’t honor the warranty or replace the couch. I’m currently fighting with the credit card company.

Complaint

The Dreamer couch we purchased from you less than a year ago has shed feathers everywhere since day ONE. It is uncomfortable to sit down on, because the feathers poke through and scrape you through your clothes. They shed EVERYWHERE. It is miserable to clean up daily and for how expensive this couch was I am so disappointed in the quality. We want to switch this couch out as soon as possible, especially since we have since paid off couch and its Only been 8 months of ownership.
