Ordered bedroom furniture from Art Van. Delivery date was set, but then a phone call that said sorry, furniture is not in stock, but we should have it by in 2 weeks. Finally over a month and several phone calls later the furniture was in stock and a delivery date set. Several phone calls to find out if frame was included with bed. Put on hold 3 times to find out the answer when finally I said that I would call the store the delivery was coming from. I called the store and spoke to Lorenzo. He added the frame to the order. Delivery day here. I asked the drivers to set the furniture in the living room until the old furniture was removed. Delivery people did not assemble headboard and mirror (part of their job). "Set the furniture in the living room" apparently means "don't assemble it." The driver showed me how I could assemble the slats to the headboard. Well now there's a problem because there are no holes in the headboard for the screws. I called Lorenzo who offered to come out and assemble the furniture himself. I called the store and was told the manager was not it. Hmmmm, I'm sure that this store must have more than one manager and none of them was in? Well the delivery manager called me back to let me know that the drivers would be back at 1pm or 2pm. I have spent my whole day on this now. Not acceptable! This experience has been a horrible nightmare! The only saving grace to this whole thing has been this young man, Lorenzo. He works in sales, but he is the poster child for customer service. So if you feel the need to absolutely purchase your furniture from this company, go to the Orland Park store and ask for him. If he's not in, my suggestion would be to shop elsewhere. Oh and if all possible, take your furniture home with you. That's if it's in stock. This company has been in the Chicagoland market for about a year, but at this rate, I give them 5 years at the most and they will be a part of Chicagoland history.

I have bought over 10k in stuff out of the items i had either replacement for damages or warranty exchange. For months given the run around spent 5 hrs on the phone today was told due to deadlines i now wont be given anything there nothing i can do all the item come to appx 2,300 wtf how can one lady just say haha we scamed you nothing you can do. I have broken items i paid high price for i got pist and lady said if i go there i will be arrested so a company can scam me out of 2,300 but if i did it i would be arrested. This county has gone to shi* and should be called land of the corprations. We need to do a class action against these guys.

Make art van tell their custermers the truth

I have a problem with a piece of furnisher which I have already mentioned they told me that there is no factory warranty I have to pay .There is the manufacturer told me there is yr but art van chooses to tell us that and over and above that they told me that I have to to pay 25% of what I payed for that arm chair and 90$ for delivery so they will take the furnisher back but I have to pay around 250.00 to them. BE AWARE OF THEM THEY DONT TELL THE TRUTH. Dont blame the sales person they are not aware of this but I am going to make sure that by contact all the stores. Greed Mr Van Be aware!!!!!!! this will be found out by all who spends their hard earned money how you are stealing from us JUST TELL US THE TRUTH BEFORE WE BUY GIVE US THE CHOICE if we want to agree to your way of dealing with the protection you are offering

So many lies.......

We ordered our furniture and asked if the delivery people would carry the old furniture out to the curb. Justin our salesman said oh yes they can do that. Of course when the delivery people get here they tell my husband they can't do that. Well with his 5 neck surgeries and chronic pain what a treat for him. We could of had someone do this earlier if we knew they would not take the furniture to the curb. Justin also said he would be having a swatch of material sent to my home which I needed to pick out curtains and paint before our new carpet was being installed. I called Justin and asked if I could use the swatch from the store since I had not received the swatch. Oh yes come in and see me tomorrow after 4:00 well I was there and he called off what a surprise. I ask to borrow the swatch, wow guess what another liar appears as an Art Van salesman. I now must put a 50.00 dollar deposit down to use the swatch. I ask the Salesman will this be put back in my account today. Oh yes, well that was another lie. I return the swatch only to be told it would 3-4 business days. So glad I bought from trained liars, in cash may I add. Well I guess the rest of the house will be furnished by a company not so well trained in the Art of deception. Thank you for nothing Art Van. Just letting everyone know this is at the Holland ohio store.

I have purchased couches in January they were delivered with broken legs and scratches I called customer services they were rude I thought at least I have 1 year warranty now they tell me nothing we can do for year very disappointed I will never buy anything from Art Van

We purchased a full power reclining sofa, love seat sectional with a corner wedge in Feb. (not cheap) after waiting over 6 weeks, the furniture arrived, wedge had a broken leg and did not line up with the couch or love seat. The cushions on the wedge are higher then the other two pieces and don't match well. They sent a service guy out to fix the leg, he came after 8:30 pm on a Saturday evening. He said it had a broken leg, (which they already knew) and some things appeared to be missing, he said he would order it and it take another 4-6 weeks. I do not want this wedge, it is broken, has parts missing and the cushions do not line up with the rest of the set. I made many phone calls and they said they would try to fix it, but if I wanted to return it I would have to pay 25%. I don't want a large piece of broken furniture in my house for another 6 weeks. So far VERY POOR PRODUCT, AND SERVICE. The power love seat appears to be listing now.(less than 2 weeks) I believe this product will be junk in no time and they know this.

I had a recliner for about 4 months and the reclining mechanism was not working properly. I called customer service and they came out to pick up the chair. I received a call about 5 days later telling me that I could pick up the chair today or wait 2 days for it to be delivered. I told them that I would be there after work to get the chair. I get here and i have been sitting in the lobby for an hour waiting for them to find my chair. They have given me 5 different excuses for why they can't find it. I will never buy from art van again. Cheap furniture

Bought sectional tearing leather stitching coming apart took 9 months to call me and tell me manufacture no longer working ! Had to pick out new set of course more money ! Cushions flattened, feel bars on back ! Called no help furniture lasted 1year 4 months !!!!! Going to small claims court !!! This company has the worst customer service I've spent thousands to be totally screwed !!! Buyer beware ! All warranties are false don't buy in a scam glad I supported this company with my hard earned mom being a single mother putting two girls through college

Where should I start! The sales people will say anything to get you to buy the furniture but after you purchase your items they forget all about the follow up. My sales person NEVER followed up with all of her promises of calling us with dates of delivery, having items we purchased wrapped and ready for us to pick up or letting us know that OUR WHOLE LIVING ROOM WE PURCHASE WAS CANCELLED AND NO LONGER IN STOCK!! We found out the day we had our other items delivered that our living room wasn't coming from our delivery man! Where is the professional customer services?? Not only did our delivery man have to tell us the news, when I called the store no one had a clue to what was going on with our order and the phones where out. When we finally went in to the store to get this resolved we were told to speak to a gentleman who told us over the phone he was a manager and HE WASN'T I lost it and he then told me I'm sorry I cant help you. The real manager was called and he and another sales assoc. tired to help but told us the same thing we're sorry your items are no longer in stock or made anymore they are discontinue you have to choose a new living room set. Well we went in AGAIN and 4-5 hour later finally picked out another living (first visit was also 4-5 hours) room set but it was double in price and I had to fight to get the original discount we received. Bottom line I was tired, upset and very unhappy and I walked out of that store cancelling everything. At the end of the day I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ART VAN AGAIN!!

I've spent so so much money at art van..( I'm ***) ( couch, love sit, bed, automen, wine cabinet and kitchen table) I just bought a recliner. With a electric switch to go up and down,and a day later it doesn't work! I waited 8 weeks for this garbage, and knew I was making a mistake when I purchassed this chair! I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING, ANTHING from art van again!! I'm so pissed I can't even see straight I'm so mad! And I've spent at least 10 grand there!!! Why?? And then I call for service on the chair a day after delievery and then the guy (Steve) on the phone treats me like ***!! I'm in the service industry and art van gets a "F"...I want to drag this chair in the driveway and set in on fire but I'm listening to the voice of reason!! (My wife)
